Casting directors for a feature film starring Josh Brolin are looking for extras in New Mexico. Saldado will be a sequel to the 2015 hit, Sicario. The directors need extras as military personnel in a war scene.
Sicario is a 2015 crime thriller directed by Denis Villeneuve. It stars Emily Blunt, Benicio del Toro, and Josh Brolin and takes place in Arizona, El Paso, and Juárez, Mexico. It received positive reviews and was advertised as one of the most raw action movies of the past decade filled with intensity and realism.
The U.S. Marshals and DEA journey into Mexico to extradite one of the cartel’s top men. The sequel was announced after the huge success of Sicario. Saldado will be the second edition into the Sicario trilogy and it will take place in Texas.
As an extra, you will be acting as military personnel. You will act in a firefight against American officials. The scene will be very intense, dramatic, and emotional so you must know how to relay these emotions to the audience. You have to make the audience believe you are really in an intense battle. Former military members preferred, but actors with the capabilities will suffice. This movie is classified as a modern western so Texas locals will feel comfortable performing in the “Western” type roles. This is a great opportunity to be apart of a huge feature film set to hit theaters in 2017.
Casting directors need to fill several different roles.
- Military personnel
- Women in and around the city
- Movie goers
- Government officials
- CIA type-people
By taking the role as an extra, bigger roles will open up for you in the future. You will meet people that know their way in and out of this business and that is just as valuable as the money earned. Apply and get this wonderful chance at furthering your career!
