Short Film Casting in Dallas


An award winning student filmmaker is casting for his latest short film. 


The plot of this short film centers around a young woman during a crucial moment in her life.  She comes to terms with her homosexuality and opens up to her friends and family.  She falls in love with her female co-worker, and then quickly realizes the discrimination and bullying that closed minded people have toward her.  The main character must embrace and learn the freedom of embracing her sexuality and love herself even though people are discriminatory around her.  This movie is full of relevant issues that plague our society today.  Help this young filmmaker create something that will surely have an impact on everyone who watches it.

She dresses in casual clothing, naturally pretty, and outgoing in many ways.  She is learning to become very open and comfortable with her homosexuality.  She is very kind and caring toward her friends, but she tends to lose her temper when people discriminate against her.  She is insecure about her looks even though she is naturally pretty, but she often tries too hard to compare herself with false societal norms.
